Choosing a frame shape and size

Start with frame width, bridge size and temple length. Measurements from a pair that already fits well are more useful than choosing solely by face shape. The bridge should sit securely without slipping, and the temples should not press against the sides of your head.

Compare the blue light filter glasses for men and blue light filter glasses for women. Some designs appear in both selections. The category helps you browse, but the fit depends on the frame dimensions and construction rather than the gender label.

Blue Block and photochromic lenses are different features

A blue light filter and a lens that changes tint are not the same thing. Some designs in this collection combine Blue Block with photochromic lenses, which change tint with lighting conditions. Having a Blue Block filter does not by itself mean that the lens changes tint.

If you want that adaptation between environments, compare the photochromic glasses. Check blue light filtering, UV protection and lens category separately. None of these specifications should be inferred simply from the Blue Block name or the colour of a lens.

• Lenses: check whether your chosen pair is photochromic and what UV protection is specified.
• Frame: compare dimensions, materials and bridge support as well as colour and silhouette.
• Filter: do not assume a collection-wide blocking percentage unless the specifications provide one.

Screen use and care

You can consider these glasses for computer, tablet or phone use if you do not need optical correction, or use compatible correction recommended by your eye-care professional. Wearing a filter does not replace breaks or guarantee that screen-related discomfort will disappear.

Before cleaning, remove particles that might scratch the lenses. Use a clean microfibre cloth and a cleaner suitable for the lens treatment. Avoid rubbing with clothing or rough paper. Store the glasses in their case, keep lenses off tabletops and avoid sources of heat.
